Villa lose for the third time in four under Jimmy Hogan as life with the new manager proves equally as difficult as that with his predecessor. 

Villa now have just three wins in their last fifteen second tier games seven wins, eight draws and six defeats in twenty one division two matches. 

Jimmy McMullan had recorded five wins, five draws and three defeats in his thirteen division two matches in charge and his successor Jimmy Hogan had now delivered two wins, three draws and three defeats in his eight game spell.
