Jimmy Hogan's Villa lose for the second time in three League games to leave them with just five wins in their last twenty two second tier games.

Villa make it just five wins in the last twenty two second tier games and an overall record of nine wins, eleven draws and eight defeats in twenty eight division two matches. 

Jimmy McMullan had recorded five wins, five draws and three defeats in his thirteen division two matches in charge and his successor Jimmy Hogan had now delivered four wins, six draws and five defeats in his fifteen game spell.
