Villa lose to Chelsea for the first time in five games, lose for the fourth time this season and the third time in six away games.
Referee Iliffe has more influence on the game than a competent official should with his low point the punishment of Johnny Dixon and Vic Potts for colliding with EACHOTHER. That the ridiculous decision led to a goal was scandal enough, that it was clearly offside blew the minds of the onlookers - including the Villa team and staff.
To make matters all the more galling Villa fall back to 8th as Chelsea leapfrog them into 6th.

Dixon and Potts accidental coming together is punished by a free kick from Iliffe who then allows the resultant offside goal. Villa already astonished at the foul call look on bewildered as Iliffe likely costs them the game.
