• Leandro Bacuna announces himself as a world class talent. “Within the next two years, I try to make my next step, “Ajax or PSV, I think. “They play Champions League football almost every year.” 

• And former club captain and longest serving player Gabriel Agbonlahor is suspended for his activities on holiday. 

• Although appearing in the incriminating photograph with Micah Richards it is only Agbonlahor who is hung out to dry.

• *BBC Radio 5 live football reporter Pat Murphy:* “The disconnect between Villa fans and players is now tangible, with the supporters ranging from resigned to angry. 

• “Agbonlahor’s suspension is designed to reduce the hostility towards the players that may surface at some stage during Saturday’s home game against Chelsea. “Although Agbonlahor did nothing illegal in Dubai, many Villa fans are angry at his decision to relax in such a way, with the season so close to an end."
