Villa finish the season in 3rd place as their title defence is lost despite, after a hesitant start, scoring 100 goals and recording 15 wins in 20 games including winning the FA Cup to make the 1894-95 season another successful one. Midfielder George Russell made his final appearance for Villa aged 25 before moving on to Glasgow United.
