Dick Taylor marks the 100th game in his undistinguished reign of a wildly inconsistent Villa with a six goal hammering at Old Trafford to make it fourteen wins, five draws and twenty two defeats in forty one League matches. Meanwhile, forward Alan Baker made his final appearance for Villa aged 21 before moving on to Walsall in July 1966. Baker played for Villa between 1960-61 and 1965-66 making 110 appearances and scoring 17 goals.
