Nii Lamptey makes his 9th and final appearance in a Villa shirt before disappearing as quickly and strangely as he came. Lamptey left with a record of W4 D1 L4, 3 Goals - all against lower League side Wigan - and 3 Bookings. Not the oddest signing in Villa’s history but certainly up there.

Kevin Richardson makes his 175th appearance in a Villa shirt to make it W76 D46 L53, 16 Goals and 18 Assists so far in his Villa career.
