Meanwhile, forward George Travers made his final appearance for Villa aged 21 before moving on to QPR in May 1909. Travers had made four appearances for the club and hit a hat-trick on debut before scoring his fourth and final goal on his last appearance. Left back Walter Kimberley also made the last of his seven appearances for Villa aged 23 before moving on to Coventry City in August 1912.
