Meanwhile, midfielder Arthur Moss made his fifth and final appearances for Villa aged 24 before moving on to Bristol City in July 1912 whilst fellow winger Albert Ralphs made his sole appearance aged 20 after moving from Whitchurch FC in November 1911. Ralphs moved on to Chester in June 1912.
