Freddie played for Villa in 1936-37 making 2 appearances.

Freddie was born in Draycote, Warwickshire on 25 May 1914 and made his debut appearance for Villa on the 3 April 1937 aged 22.

Villa had signed Freddie from Ilkeston Town in November 1936 and he was to make his final appearance just a fortnight after his debut on 17 April 1937.

Freddie moved to Wrexham in September 1938.

Freddie played under Jimmy Hogan.

Freddie passed away in Derby in 1983 aged 69.
